We replace that patchwork with one team that knows your student's whole story and holds the entire roadmap, from course selection and first shadowing experience through the AMCAS application and interview season.

Whenever your student is ready. Some families come to us as freshmen with a brand new interest in medicine. Others arrive junior year, already deep in the process. Starting earlier gives us more room to build the profile deliberately rather than assemble it retroactively, but there is no point at which it becomes too late to benefit from a clear plan. We build the roadmap from wherever your student stands today.

The call is 30 minutes and it is free. We listen first. You tell us about your student, their interests, and where they are right now. We give you an honest read on their current position, walk you through what their personalized roadmap would look like, and answer every question your family has. There is no pressure and no obligation. Many families use the call simply to understand the landscape better, and that is a perfectly good outcome.

This is a strong fit if your student is genuinely drawn to medicine and your family wants one expert relationship rather than a series of transactions. It is a strong fit if you would rather your student spend their energy becoming a compelling future physician than tracking deadlines and decoding requirements.

Every session is a focused, one hour working meeting. Frequency changes with the phase of the journey. During quieter stretches, such as early high school or the first years of college, sessions are regular check-ins that keep the plan on track. During intensive periods, such as college application season or the medical school application cycle, sessions become far more frequent as we work through essays, school lists, and interview preparation together.

Our advising is offered in yearly segments. Families commit one year at a time, and you are free to continue or to step away at the end of any year. We designed it this way on purpose. A partnership that spans this many years should be earned annually, not locked in once at the beginning.

Your family has direct access to us for the questions that cannot wait until the next meeting. A sudden deadline, an unexpected opportunity, a difficult decision, or good news worth celebrating. We also maintain the tracking that runs continuously in the background: deadlines, hours logs, opportunity windows, and application timelines.

Yes, and this is central to how we work. The advisor who learns your student's story in high school is the same advisor helping tell that story to medical schools years later. By the time the AMCAS application arrives, we are not being introduced to a stranger. We have built the narrative together across every phase.

Less than you might expect, and that is the point. We handle the tracking, the research, the deadline management, and the strategy. You receive regular written progress updates so you always know exactly where things stand, what was accomplished, and what comes next. You are welcome to join sessions, and many parents do at key decision points, but the day to day management is ours to carry.

We actively help. We identify appropriate research labs and physician contacts, and we draft the outreach on your student's behalf. Cold outreach is one of the highest barrier tasks in the entire pre-med journey, and most students never learn how to do it well. We do not simply tell your student to find a lab. We help them land one.

We do not provide test tutoring, and this is a deliberate choice. We build the testing strategy, which test to take, when to take it, what score range to target, how many hours of preparation the timeline requires, and we recommend the specific preparation resources best matched to your student's learning style. Test preparation is a crowded field with excellent specialized options. Our value is in strategy and in everything surrounding the test, not in duplicating what dedicated tutors already do well.

For both college and medical school applications, we provide unlimited revision rounds on the personal statement. Supplemental and secondary essays are supported for six designated schools, again with unlimited rounds on each. We would rather do exceptional work on the schools that matter most to your student than spread thin coverage across every school on the list.

Then we help them find the path that is. This is not a failure, and it is not a problem for us. Our goal was never to train your student to become a medical school applicant. Our goal is to help them become a confident young adult who is ready to excel in any field, including medicine. A student who discovers early that medicine is not for them has learned something genuinely valuable, and everything built along the way, strong academics, meaningful research, real leadership, serious writing, carries into whatever comes next.

Practically speaking, because our advising is structured in yearly segments, your family is never locked into a path your student has outgrown. You can conclude our work together at the end of any year.

We work with a small number of families on one specific path, and our knowledge of that path is current rather than general. A counselor can tell your student which courses to take. We can tell them which courses medical schools will scrutinize years from now, and why.
